VINH TAN THERMAL POWER CENTER (BINH THUAN PROVINCE)

VHDN: On July 13, 2021, Binh Thuan Customs Department granted vessel clearance to M/V NACC ITACA carrying 6,622 tons fly ash of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, leaving Vinh Tan international port. Fly ash conforming BS EN 450-1:2005 standard as a cement additive. This is the first shipment of ash and slag exported by Orient Wealth Co., Ltd. in Vinh Tan area – marking an important milestone for long-term consuming ash and slag at Vinh Tan Thermal Power Center.

Representative of the exporter, Mr. Le Quang Truc, Director of Orient Wealth Co.,Ltd. said: The company has a contract to transport and utilize fly ash and slag with: Vinh Tan 1 Thermal Power Plant; Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant; Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant; Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant.

With a consumption volume of more than 0.5 million tons in the past year, Orient Wealth Company is one of the largest fly ash trading companies in Vietnam. Fly ash export for NACC ITACA vesssel is carefully selected and classified as Class F used as an additive to cement, concrete and mortar. The shipment meets the highest standards of quality and completely meets the standards such as Vietnamese standard TCVN 10302:2014, American standard ASTM C168-05 and European standard BS EN 450-1:2005. This cement additive product increases concrete strength, reduces cracking and waterproofing to protect the internal structure of building materials.

The representative of Orient Wealth Company also said that the company had passed the most rigorous inspection process of the importer, which is Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan). With careful preparation, implementation of procedures from sample testing, classification, quality control, checking the composition of ash and slag without hazardous waste to the coordination and operation process, the Company has successfully exported the first batch of fly ash abroad and opened the premise for the export of 200,000 tons of fly ash per year from Vinh Tan Thermal Power Center.
